Elizabeth's experience with cancer began when her mother was diagnosed and continued with her own diagnosis of malignant melanoma when she was 28. In 2005 she served as a caregiver to three young adults who died of cancer in 2006. Elizabeth has been employed at various photography galleries, The J. Paul Getty Museum Department of Photographs, The Los Angeles County Museum of Art, The Fratelli Alinari, and for 5 years as a curator for The Michael Wilson Collection. Matt has over 7 years of website management and online marketing experience. He is currently working as a Search Marketing Manager with Commerce360, the industry leader in Online Marketing strategy, traffic generation, conversion and analytics. Diagnosed with Follicular Thyroid cancer in 1998 at age 26, Matt has been active in the cancer community since 1999 by hosting fundraising benefits for Planet Cancer, and the Lance Armstrong Foundation. In 2006 he was selected as one of two representatives from the state of Pennsylvania to participate in Livestrong Day on Capital Hill. Matt also currently publishes the Cancer Creatives Blog and website focusing on off-beat creative ways people fight cancer everyday.

Sara Kaye Larson is a writer, media artist, and teacher. She is the author of the book 80 and Sunny, 80andsunny.blogspot.com and creator of TheBiggestButte.com , Leftatthethriftstore.blogspot.com , TheOfficeSignProject.com and a few blogs about the local weather in the many places she has lived, like spittinfromthemitten.blogspot.com. Sara has taught at Wayne State University, Detroit Film Center, Echo Park Film Center, Henry Ford Community College, and with the WriteGirl in-schools program. Sara Kaye was diagnosed with Hodgkins Lymphoma in 2002. Her autobiographical documentary about being a young adult cancer survivor, "Going Nodal : The Hodge Experience" won first place documentary in the NextFrame Film Festival and was screened as part of the Kodak Emerging Filmmakers Program at the 2005 Cannes International Film Festival. She is a graduate of Wayne State University's Media Art & Studies Graduate Program. She currently makes movies and teaches in Memphis, Tennessee. You can check out some of her work at theSKL.com

Asha is a professional musician specializing in electric violin. ashamevlana.com She is currently on the road with Gnarls Barkley, and has previously played and recorded with Alanis Morissette, The Black Eyed Peas, Cheap Trick, Enrique Iglesias, and Roger Daltrey (to name a few). Asha was diagnosed with breast cancer in 1999 at age 24. She has been cancer-free for seven years. She has worked at Young Survival Coalition and has also organized numerous benefit concerts to raise money for breast cancer. Her story has been featured in many national magazines as well as on The Today Show, The Montel Williams Show, and Lifetime Television. Asha is a graduate of Wellesley College.

Kalla has seven years of nonprofit management experience, including public relations, development and policy analysis. She has worked for Planned Parenthood and the National Wildlife Federation. Kalla was diagnosed with Acute Myelogenous Leukemia on St. Patrick's Day, 2004 and received a bone marrow stem cell transplant from her sister. Although she has had some complications, she has been cancer free for almost three years. Kalla is a graduate of Brandeis University.

Julia first faced the world of cancer at the age of 20 when her mother was diagnosed with Stage three breast cancer. Watching her mothers successful fight against cancer ignited Julia's interest in both health advocacy and integrative health care (primarily yoga and nutrition). Julia is a Certified Yoga Teacher at Yoga Works in Santa Monica, CA, and continues to study the benefits of yoga both as a supplementary cancer treatment and in the prevention of cancer and other chronic disease.

Jonah has nine years experience as an advisor and merchant/investment banker, with Houston-based Sanders Morris Harris. Jonah has been involved with over $600 million in equity financings dealing with venture-stage, later stage private, and micro/small cap public companies, primarily in the technology and consumer discretionary industries. Jonah has acted as a board observer for a number of companies and is currently on the Advisory Board of California Executives. He is also an investor in privately held, BlackBook magazine. Jonah is a graduate of the University of Texas, Austin.
